App Store Connect alternatives for checking sales
Updated 2026-08-04
App Store Connect works, but it's slow, it's siloed, and it only ever tells you about Apple — which is a problem if Apple is a portion of your revenue rather than all of it.
First, the constraint nobody can engineer around
Apple does not expose real-time revenue. Figures come from Sales and Trends reports — gzipped TSV files generated on Apple's schedule, typically a day behind, fetched with an ES256-signed JWT.
So any tool promising "real-time App Store revenue" is either redefining real-time or estimating. This is a platform limitation, not a product gap. Detail: the App Store integration.
The alternatives
RevenueCat
Subscription infrastructure with charts attached. If you already use it for in-app purchases, its dashboard is capable and free at lower volumes. It is an SDK you integrate, not a reporting tool you connect. See RevenueCat alternatives.
Appfigures
Long-standing app analytics covering revenue, downloads, rankings and ASO. Strong if App Store performance is your main concern. Paid.
Sensor Tower / data.ai
Market intelligence rather than personal revenue tracking. Useful for competitive research; overkill and expensive for checking your own numbers.
FRGMNT
Different angle: mobile revenue as one input among several, alongside Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad and PayPal.
With an important current caveat: the App Store integration authenticates and validates credentials today, but the Sales and Trends reporting pipeline is still in development. App Store revenue does not yet contribute to the figures.
So if App Store data is the only thing you need, FRGMNT is not the answer today — use Appfigures or RevenueCat. If Apple is one slice of a fragmented revenue picture and the others are Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or PayPal, FRGMNT covers those completely now and Apple when the pipeline ships.

Frequently asked
Is there a better app than App Store Connect for checking sales?
Several tools read App Store data, including RevenueCat, Appfigures and Sensor Tower. Each has a different focus — subscription infrastructure, ASO analytics, or market intelligence — and none give truly real-time figures, because Apple does not provide them.
Why is App Store revenue data always delayed?
Apple provides revenue through Sales and Trends reports generated on its own schedule, typically a day behind. There is no live revenue endpoint, so no tool can show real-time App Store revenue.
