Gumroad and PayPal revenue

This is the pure creator setup: products sold through Gumroad's checkout, plus direct payments — commissions, custom work, sponsorships — collected through PayPal.

Both are cash businesses. Neither produces recurring revenue in the way a subscription does, and FRGMNT reports them accordingly.

What you get

There is no MRR figure for this combination, and that's correct rather than a limitation. If your revenue is genuinely all one-off, a recurring-revenue metric would be a fiction.

What you get instead is a single daily cash figure and one chronological feed across both platforms, so you're not checking two dashboards to answer "how did today go?".

Honestly: if Gumroad and PayPal are your only revenue sources, you're using a fraction of what the app does. The MRR engine — the thing that makes it different from a simple sales tracker — sits idle.

It's still useful for the unified feed and sale notifications. But if you're deciding whether to pay for Pro, know that the value is concentrated in multi-platform aggregation, and two cash-only platforms is the thinnest version of that.

Setting up

Gumroad needs an access token; PayPal needs a REST app client ID and secret. Neither platform's credential can be scoped as narrowly as a Stripe restricted key.
