Lemon Squeezy is a merchant of record built for software and digital products. It handles VAT and sales tax on your behalf, which is why a lot of solo founders use it instead of, or alongside, Stripe.

FRGMNT treats Lemon Squeezy as a first-class recurring revenue source.

What FRGMNT reads

True MRR comes from your active subscriptions. Each subscription is resolved to its underlying price and billing interval, then normalised to a monthly figure and added to the same total as Stripe. An annual Lemon Squeezy plan contributes one twelfth of its value per month, exactly as it should.

Today's cash comes from today's orders.

The honest limitations

Two things to know before you trust the number:

Fees are approximated as zero. Lemon Squeezy's cut is real — it's a merchant of record, so it charges more than a bare payment processor — but the integration does not currently subtract it. Today's cash from Lemon Squeezy is therefore closer to gross than to net. Stripe's fees, by contrast, are read exactly from balance transactions.

Currency is assumed to be USD. If you sell in multiple currencies, amounts are summed without conversion.

Neither of these affects the MRR trend line much — they affect the absolute today's-cash figure. If you need exact net revenue for accounting, use Lemon Squeezy's own reporting. If you want to know roughly what landed today across every platform at a glance, this is what FRGMNT is for.

The key you need

An API key from Settings → API in your Lemon Squeezy dashboard. Lemon Squeezy keys are account-scoped rather than granularly permissioned, which is worth knowing: unlike a Stripe restricted key, you cannot narrow it to read-only. Treat it accordingly, and revoke it from the same screen if you ever need to.

The key is stored in your device Keychain and used to call the Lemon Squeezy API directly from your phone. It is never sent to a FRGMNT server.
